Shellaberger is the Place to be on Friday Nights, but...
On the 2nd Friday of each month - it is a Fiesta!
Each week the club is open to everyone to enjoy free tennis with lots of fun people, but on the second Friday of each month it is Fiesta time! Fiesta nights include social competitive tennis, fun tennis games, instruction to both adults and juniors, and food & beverages. It's a great way to spend a Friday with your tennis friends, or to meet some new ones. This event is open to members and non-members, so feel free to invite anyone you like, even if they're not a tennis player, yet. We have instructional courts for the newbies, and a court for kids. You Can Now Get a Massage at Shellaberger!
Since tennis is demanding on the body we are now offering therapeutic massages
There is a growing awareness that a complete workout routine includes not only exercise and proper nutrition, but also caring for the wear and tear of minor injuries that naturally occur with strenuous movement. So don't let symptoms like tennis elbow, rotator cuff, plantar faciitis, or back pain keep you sidelined or from playing up to your potential. You can schedule a massage with Erika Copeland through our front desk. For a limited time we are offering 60 minute massages for $50 or a 90 minute massage for $75! The therapeutic massage can be something to look forward to after or before a tennis workout right here at the club - a healthy reward!

Are You the Top Dog at Shellaberger?
Start earning your points this January
If you enjoy fun competitive co-ed doubles, this is the program for you! Top Dog doubles runs for 8 weeks, starting for some levels as early as October 20th and ending for everyone byh December 15th.  It is an extremely popular league in which people try to either accumulate the most points throughout the season. Every night you come you are guaranteed three sets with three different partners. Top Dog Doubles is held Tuesday thru Thursday from 7pm-9pm. Your night of the week is based on your level. Just remember, although overall you will always find a fun friendly atmoshere, everyone is trying to be "Top Dog." Please see the The Top Dog Doubles Flyer for more information. The Tennis Experience - Instruction, Racket Advice, Social Play, Ball Machine
A non-member friendly program!
For a well rounded program you should try the Tennis Experience. It includes three hours of instruction, a chance to demo the latest in racket technology, passes to come back and participate in a Sunday Social Mixer, and coaching on how to use tha ball machine properly at another new program being offered - the Ball Machine Bonanza. Join other members for an afternoon of mixed-up doubles, where fun, competition and socializing are the order of the day. You’ll play with several partners and opponents in one afternoon. Anytime Singles League
Enjoy fun competition when it fits into your schedule.
The Anytime Singles League is a flexible league in which you and your opponent set up your own match times. Each player is given a list of the people in their division with their contact information, and you coordinate match times that fits your schedule. Divisions are based on NTRP rating system. At the end of divisional play a play-off will be held to determine the win-ners of each league. Prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners-up in each league.
